Top 10 Intimate Event Venues in the City

Intimate is the new normal. Celebrate the important milestones in your life in these beautiful event venues—located right in the city!

Intimate events are now the new normal way of partying. Likewise, it can also be an option that’s here to stay, even beyond the day the pandemic ends. With that being said, I would like to share some of the best events venue around the metro that works best for those intimate events, like weddings, debuts, birthdays, or company launches.

Check them out!

10. Apogee Events and Lifestyle (IG: @apogeemnl)

Right at the heart of Malate, Manila, is Apogee Events and Lifestyle venue. When you’re in the street of Padre Faura, it’s hard to miss this beautiful venue: a Spanish-style old house painted from top to bottom by the new owners in a light shade of pink. Here, you can choose from 3 event areas: Arroceros, Observatorio, and Escolta.

Arroceros is the biggest space with all-white walls and high ceilings. It can accommodate up to 120 people! On the other hand, Observatorio gives you a feel of hosting a party in your own home. It’s perfect for intimate dinners for 30 people. Plus, you’ll have access to your own private open kitchen, where you can cook while entertaining your guests.

And lastly, the Escolta Hall, which is located on the second floor, is beautifully decorated with dark green and gold tones. In fact, when you rent this space, you don’t need to hire a separate event stylist because this area is already beautiful as is. Great savings right there! To complete the experience, they also have quite a few accredited caterers to offer.

9. Gallery Mira Nila by Blue Leaf (IG: @gallerymiranila)

Located within Quezon City, Gallery Mira Nila is an addition to the Blue Leaf’s roster of event venues. Plus, this particular venue is their offering for intimate parties. Gallery Mira Nila is situated in a private estate, which can be exclusively yours for your big day. What’s more, their setup gives you a feel of having your event in a destination venue, even while right at the heart of the city.

They also have a few accredited caterers to offer to make the planning process much easier.

8. Manila House Private Members Club (IG: @manila_house)

Located at the Neo building in Bonifacio Global City, this private venue has definitely captured the hearts of many. With its great food, accommodating staff, and beautiful interiors, you’ll easily fall in love with Manila House. We ourselves have covered dozens of events here and of late, it’s fast becoming a favorite for intimate wedding receptions.

What’s more, you can choose to have your party in their indoor hall—complete with beautiful tropical decors—or can opt to have it outdoors at their open terrace, where you’ll have a great view of the cityscape. And rest easy. The food serve at Manila House is prepared by their mainstay in-house chef.

7. Palacio de Memoria (IG:

A white mansion that’s situated within the streets of Pasay, Palacio de Memoria comes with lush and sprawling gardens where you can hold your intimate event. In the events we’ve covered here, we’ve had ceremonies done in the garden during sunset—followed by reception dinners held in the middle of the house lobby.

Overall, the property is truly beautiful. Its impressive decor really takes you back to the Spanish era. As an added treat, couples can even have their photos taken inside their well-preserved airplane—stationed at the lawn on the side of the house. And the food served here will be catered by Margarita Fores’ Cibo di M.

6. Las Casas (IG: @lascasasqc)

Among the list of event venues that I’ve come up with, this venue is one of the first ones to offer their space for intimate weddings. Far before the pandemic, Las Casas in Quezon City opened to cater to private events with 100 guests or less.

Built in the Spanish era, it is a well-preserved mansion with a beautiful gold staircase as the focal point of the house. Moreover, couples can choose to have their wedding indoors in one of their wedding halls or outdoor by the terrace or lush garden. They have a few accredited caterers to offer to save you the hassle.

5. Concept Space MNL (IG: @conceptspacemnl)

The newest kid on the block, Concept Space Manila is located in Quezon City, along the Congressional Avenue extension. Situated on the second floor of Greystone building, Concept Space MNL offers spacious halls that can be brought together for your event. Each hall can accommodate 60 to 70 people, so getting two halls can let you have about 120 to 140 guests.

What’s more, its interiors have a clean, open, and industrial vibe which comes with in-house trusses on its high ceiling, making it easy for event stylists to place hanging ceiling decor. They even have an in-house caterer, Juan Carlo the Caterer, though you may also bring in their own caterer of choice.

4. Wagyu Studio (IG: @wagyustudio)

In the busy streets of Bonifacio Global City, you’ll find this treasure of a restaurant called Wagyu Studio. We did a wedding here in 2021, during a time when events were only allowed to have 20 or fewer people, and how we loved the feel and vibe of this venue!

Upon entering you’ll definitely appreciate the minimalist modern aesthetics of the restaurant. This makes it easy for the event stylist to put up decors that would compliment the space. Needless to say, their offering of excellent Wagyu steaks—cooked Japanese-style—are all exceptional and mouth-watering.

For private events, they offer a degustation set menu at PHP 10,000 per head, which consists of excellent entrees from start to end. Food is prepared by Wagyu Studio’s in-house chef.

3. Sitio Elena Events Venue (IG: @sitioelenaeventsvenue)

Going east of the Metro, right before you go up to Valley Golf Antipolo, you’ll find Sitio Elena Events Venue. They have quite a number of areas to offer for events—a ballroom on the ground floor, a newly-built ballroom on the second floor, a side pocket garden perfect for small intimate outdoor events, and an open rooftop deck which has the most perfect sunset view. Definitely perfect for all kinds of wedding ceremonies!

One advantage that Sitio Elena has above all else is that they have their own private bedrooms where the bride and groom can stay for their wedding preparations. Very convenient and accessible! They do have a lot of accredited caterers to offer, so have fun choosing!

2. Lola Cafe (IG: @lolacafe)

Lola Cafe has a few branches around the Metro—one in Quezon City, another one in Podium Mall, and yet another one in SM Mall of Asia. Good restaurant food aside, it offers a private space for your intimate event. And yes, for special events, its wide range of food choices are served buffet-style.

The best part? The rates are very reasonable and friendly! One tip is to get their venue for two slots though, so you have more time to be with your guests, especially since they are very strict with time extensions.

1. Burrow Cafe (IG:

Burrow Cafe is another pretty venue on the east side, specifically at Antipolo City. A restaurant and event venue all in one, this cafe showcases a rustic feel—with bricks and wood elements and a view of the forest all around. It’s an indoor space, but the overall vibe gives you a feeling of being outdoors.

Plus, they offer delicious foodmostly Asian cuisine—and they offer really good coffee as a good ender to your meals!
