Barcelona-based bridal house Rosa Clara celebrates 10 years of milestones with stunning wedding gowns, here in the Philippines.

It seems like only yesterday when Rosa Clara Philippines first opened its doors in 2011, introducing the concept of ready-to-wear bridal dresses to Filipinas. Since then, the Barcelona-based bridal house—a leading name in bridal since the ’90s—has been the brand of choice for numerous Filipina brides for their special day.

In fact, key clients include celebrities and influencers like Bianca Gonzalez Intal, Bea Soriano Dee, and Martine Cajucom Ho, to name a few.

The Wedding Dress of Your Dreams

What makes it so popular, you ask? For the past 25 years, Rosa Clara has been known to produce beautiful wedding gowns for modern-day brides who dream of wearing sophisticated and timeless versions of the romantic wedding gowns they’ve dreamed of as children. Even international celebrities and European royalty have chosen to wear dresses from this designer.

What’s more, the brides of international athletes Rafael Nadal and Leonel Messi have worn Rosa Clara for their respective big days. Last 2019, Princess Stephanie of Monaco’s son Louis Ducruet married Marie Chevallier, who wore 3 Rosa Clara dresses for her royal wedding, including a very chic jumpsuit!

Rosa Clara, a Global Presence

Rosa Clara is present in many countries all over the world, including the USA, England, France, Spain, and Portugal, as well in South and Central America and the Middle East. But the first and only Rosa Clara branch in Asia is located at Makati: the Greenbelt flagship. It’s the go-to place for brides who don’t want to have to deal with unpleasant surprises in the already stressful process of wedding planning.

With Rosa Clara, what you see is what you get. There are no empty promises. Designs will never look completely different from the sketch, the peg, or what the bride had envisioned. In fact, brides can choose from a wide array of designs to suit many different body types, themes, and even budgets. Because yes, there are literally hundreds of options in the Makati store alone!

With a specially trained in-house tailoring team, gowns are only touched by Rosa Clara professionals. No part of the process is outsourced. From the creation to the final alterations, your gown is properly cared for and handled by only the Rosa Clara team.

Trust in the Process

To date, Rosa Clara is often flanked by other luxury European houses, such as Rue Faubourg-Saint Honore in Paris, Avenida Diagonal in Barcelona, and the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. Given how beautiful the gowns look and the prestige that this shop carries, people automatically assume that their pieces are very pricey.

But actually, these gowns begin at a very affordable price range of around PHP80,000. And that’s a steal, given the gorgeous imported fabric and special techniques used.

As for the process of choosing, ordering, and altering a gown, it may take about 7 to 8 months total. After all, it takes 6 months for your gown to be made and delivered from the headquarters in Barcelona. However, given that many brides nowadays are choosing to go with shorter engagements, it’s also possible to choose a ready-to-wear gown from their showroom, which the in-house team can alter for you.

Although Rosa Clara Manila has produced dresses for two different brides—who needed them literally the next day because, in both instances, their gown designers were not able to finish on time—the team says it is best to choose a gown no later than 2 months before your wedding. That way, the process will be less hectic and not stressful for the brides.
