A year has gone by since the world saw every nation go on lockdown—people fluttered homebound, businesses closed, loved ones passed, loneliness created by social distancing struck, and uncertainty began to grow. The world is collectively suffering, and ironically, for once, we are all on the same boat. And sadly, there are so many people that struggle to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
As a mindful company, we at PATTON STUDIO want to mark our one-year anniversary with a strong and meaningful message of RESILIENCE—not only for the important message it conveys during these uncertain times, but also because it represents the company, the team, and the fuel that has kept us going…and the belief in what we are doing.

Where Classic Meets Modernity
Launched last March 2020 amid a global pandemic, I, along with our founders and collaborators, decided to come up with a ready-to-wear label that aims to simplify and elevate its customers’ wardrobe and lifestyle. Armed with clean and practical aesthetics, building a foundation of modern everyday staples—consisting of easy-to-wear conscious pieces that will help anyone approach their day with comfort and ease was our vision.

We moved forward with our plans because we felt its concept and values would be relevant to the changes our consumer society needed. And that’s how PATTON was born.
One year later, we feel very blessed to watch PATTON grow—from starting out as an e-commerce brand that continuously offers a seamless shopping experience to putting up our flagship store at SM Aura Premier (which is located in one of the most promising cities in the country). We also feel incredibly grateful since PATTON is also being recognized and appreciated internationally.
Resilience as Part of Everyday Life
As a parent, a wife, a designer, and a business owner, the past year has not spared me of any challenges. But like they say, you don’t know what someone is made of until you put them to the test. We are grateful for all our blessings and don’t take anything for granted. As we pay homage to our resilience as a nation, we credit our success to our strong values and faith, and our guiding light through these difficult times.
In our newest line—one aptly named RESILIENCE—we launched two gender-neutral pieces: an oversized sweater and an oversized hoodie. Through this collection, we want to embody the theme of resilience and communicate our message of strength amid adversity, where we hope to make a difference.

Additionally, with every purchase of these pieces, we will be giving back to those in need. The profits from these new pieces will be donated to MovEd, an organization that provides quality early childhood education, care, and other development programs for children in underprivileged communities in the Philippines. Since the pandemic has greatly affected many people, MovEd continues to prioritize the safety and well-being of the communities they reach, as well as striving to improve and further their mission during challenging times. And we from PATTON would like to help support this cause.
A Representation of Resilience
Currently, our RESILIENCE pieces have been sent out to an array of influential local and international celebrities, as well as personalities who can help create a digital chain that encourages resilience. We’ve asked them to share their stories, in the hopes that the message will reach far and wide, and inspire many. This is the first of a series of pieces that will be part of PATTON’s commitment to give back and help others.
We are all in this together. Thus, we at PATTON want to do our part in making sure more people come out of this pandemic stronger, better, undefeated, and ready to take on purpose-filled lives. After all, it is only in each other’s support that we will be able to keep standing strong.
RESILIENCE is a way of life—a means of moving forward and a celebration of overcoming adversity. And we want everyone to embrace it.
