The moment you open the double doors of the newest Chamber 4 at The Venta Suites, a glorious Marrakesh-inspired indoor pool beckons you in. As a former wood kiln-dryer facility with a high ceiling, it was the perfect setting for an indoor pool that still feels spacious and open—just like being outdoors.

If you are not yet familiar with The Venta Suites, it is one of the newest staycation favorites in Guagua, Pampanga. A short drive from the Metro, this lovely spot offers a uniquely lush bed and breakfast escape for busy city dwellers.

The Venta Suites has 4 suites that are styled individually—reflecting the concept of repurposing and refurbishing, which originates from the proprietor’s furniture business background. Chambers 1 and 2 have access to the common pool, while Chamber 3 has a private indoor pool. Very recently, they have added Chamber 4, which comes with its own private Marrakesh-inspired indoor pool and a more spacious bathroom with a clawfoot tub.

Meet the Newest Chamber 4 Suite

The newest addition to The Venta Suites is their Chamber 4 suite—situated by the Planta Betis property’s main access road—so you can literally park your car outside your door, hop out, and open your suite doors.

Past those tall and wide double doors, you will be welcomed by the colorful tiles that adorn the indoor pool—right by your doorstep. You would immediately feel like you were transported in the picturesque interiors of Marrakesh, but as you pan your eyes out, their tropical wall mural with bananas and their twin black peacock chairs anchor you back to our beautiful home country.

Immediately next to the pool is a comfortable lounge area, where you can read a book, sip some wine as you enjoy conversations with family and friends, or just chill and let the sound of running water calm your senses. What’s more, you can enjoy the privacy of being in your own suite, while indulging in a refreshing dip in their gorgeous indoor pool.

Dine in Comfort and Privacy

Sustaining The Venta Suites furniture heritage in mind, Chamber 4 boasts of spacious rooms that are designed uniquely with repurposed decorative objects—utilized as interior accents all around. For instance, the dining area of Chamber 4 suite, which is situated right next to the indoor pool, features a mixture of re-used and refurbished eclectic knickknacks.

It’s a mix of old and new, giving the suite a lived-in feel with a touch of nostalgia.

Welcome to Your Main Suite

A separate door welcomes you to the main suite, where the living room brings you back to modern times with its huge television set—provided with Netflix and ready for their guests’ use.

Upon entry, you’ll already feel how spacious this suite is, as the bedroom can accommodate extra beds, so you can bring your kids in tow.

It even features a custom bed that prioritizes both comfort and space to enhance the guests’ restful stay. There is even a macrame swing provided in the room for lounging or for your kids to play in.

One of the highlights of the newest Chamber 4 is that it is provided with a clawfoot bathtub in a bathroom—complete with a high ceiling—for an almost indoor-outdoor feel for the bathroom area. It also has a very spacious shower, located right next to the tub, for your comfort and convenience.

The bathroom also features carved-out wooden frames with a huge wall mirror that will satisfy all your selfie OOTD needs for the day. The wood carving around is also an important nod of significance to the wood carving industry of Pampanga.

Good Food can be Found Right Here

At The Venta Suites, you are provided with several dining options during your stay. You can dine in the privacy of your private suites, especially for Chambers 3 and 4, with their own private dining area. What’s more, you can also enjoy your meals at the common dining table.

On the other hand, you can opt to take a short stroll and enjoy your dishes hot off the kitchen of Fabrika Restaurant. There are so many yummy dishes to try, and our short stay didn’t give us enough chances to try them all, so we will definitely return another time.

Meanwhile, breakfast in your suite comes in the most adorable local picnic basket, where you can choose from their options of popular Filipino breakfast favorites or an American breakfast. Your breakfast picnic already comes with local drip coffee, as well. Yum!

You can even make the most of the picnic vibe and take your delectable food basket to the pond deck for a breakfast… al fresco!

If you are staying in Chamber 3, you are allocated your very own private deck, where you can enjoy your picnic by the waterside in privacy.

Lush Greens and Fresh Air

The Venta Suites also showcases an outdoor lounge with a common pool for guests to enjoy and relax in. Bikes are also available so you can roam around the property, while the Nordic macrame swing-around easily blends with greenery.

One of the most interesting parts of Venta is that it is surrounded by lush greenery, so coming to The Venta Suites feels as if you are in a very large garden. If you love plants like us and would like to take home some of this beautiful greenery with you back to the city, you can also ask their assistance and they can connect you with their sister plant nursery, Hardin ng Bituin, for your plantita needs.

Overall, it was truly was a memorable stay—not only for the interesting history of the place and their unique take to the bed and breakfast stay—but also for their warm and genuine hospitality.
