Justin Ragasa and Gaile Esguerra’s MEAT Cute Love Story
Taking an unconventional approach, Justin Ragasa and Gaile Esguerra wore colorful ensembles and tied the knot in their favorite restaurant.
No two weddings are the same. Each one is carefully curated with its own theme—a symbol of the couple’s love or a shared interest, a preferred aesthetic, and more. While some have taken the traditional approach, there are others who prefer something unconventional and yet meaningful.
Justin Ragasa and Gaile Esguerra’s wedding was one of them.

Justin and Gaile’s MEAT Cute Story
A pretty ceremony that truly caught our eye, this super intimate wedding was held in the famous restaurant Wagyu Studio at The Fort, BGC.
“We’ve frequented Wagyu Studio ever since its opening and we’ve always been so sure that it has the best dining experience, bar none,” Justin shares. “I always tell people that just the sheer attack on your taste buds [already] beggars belief. [What’s more], the place is perfect for the limited number of guests we had, considering there had to be social distancing. I believe we are the first wedding event that they have accepted, which for sure is an honor.”

Of Non-traditional Wedding Outfits
In most weddings, the bride usually wears a traditional bridal dress, while the groom dons a dapper suit. But Justin and Gaile got married in non-traditional outfits. Instead of the classic white and black, they both donned colorful ensembles—Andrea Tetangco x Marc Rancy for our bride and Versace clothes with Prada shoes for our groom.
Asked why they chose non-conventional outfits, the groom shares, “This was a welcomed concession [that] we had to make, due to the pandemic wreaking havoc on our timetable. Since movement was limited, we had to be quick and decisive about what to wear. We’re truly fortunate for the fact that we are surrounded by world-class designers such as Andrea Tetangco and Marc Rancy for the bride.”
“Considering [that] it was a sort of last-minute request, they produced such amazing pieces,” he continues. “Her sneakers were from Hermes. Her makeup was done by Leo Posadas. My wife was already beautiful but with Leo’s work, this was her most beautiful. Unbelievably beautiful. My outfit was all [from] retail designers—bought from Gucci and the shoes were from Prada. I also wore my timepiece from Vacheron Constantin.”

A Well Done Wedding
As for the basic feel and overall look of the wedding, Justin and Gaile completely entrusted it to the expertise of events stylist Dave Sandoval. And the overall result was tasteful and so, so beautiful—perfect for an intimate wedding celebration!

Just like most “pandemic wedding couples”, Justin and Gaile had tough moments during the planning. But it was made much easier since the couple’s events planner, Rhed Sarmiento, made sure that everything was perfect and stress-free.
Our warmest wishes to our newlyweds Justin Ragasa and Gaile Esguerra! May this colorful day be the beginning of many happy and colorful years ahead.
