All dolled-up and looking as gorgeous as ever. Actress Francine Diaz celebrates her 18th birthday with a dreamy, magical-themed debut.

ABS CBN’s rising star Francine Diaz celebrated her 18th birthday with a grand and spectacular debut last February 26, 2022. The original date was supposed to be set in January, but due to the surge of COVID cases that month, they decided to move the debut to a later date.

It was sometime in October when the group of Francine approached me to help in planning her debut. The first thing I asked her was what kind of party she wished for. She instantly said she wanted to have a dreamy debut to celebrate her coming of age.

And so, with the help of premiere event stylist Gideon Hermosa and Kim Torres Events, we created a magical, dreamy party for her.

A Star-studded Event

Set in Apogée Events and Lifestyle, the venue was decorated in such a way that you’ll first go through a mirror tunnel that will usher you into a beautiful area—much like being under a sea of clouds. Paired with a dreamy backdrop of moon and clouds, the whole venue was also filled with white flowers. This all-white setup was accentuated with floating graphics of stars and galaxies—made specially by Always in Motion.

Francine had a grand entrance in her beautiful blush pink Michael Leyva gown, which she paired with Tessera earrings and an all-diamond studded headband—complete with beautifully embellished shoes by Jefferson Si. She was glammed up by her favorites—Denise Ochoa, Jay Wee, and Drew Lacia—and looked every inch gorgeous.

The party was well-attended, with showbiz and high society figures: Beauty Gonzales, Kare Bautista, Bianca Lapus, Direk Lauren Dyogi, Philip, and Small Laude. Even Fashion Pulis’ Michael Lim made an appearance, along with Bernard Cloma, Eula Valdez, and Ashley Diaz, among others. 

Joy, happiness, and excitement were all so evident in Francine’s face from start to finish. Truly, it was a dream come true for our talented and beautiful debutante.
