As 2020 draws to a close, we are constantly reminded of how Christmas this year has been different—our holiday traditions and festivities included—and so we create new experiences that recall days when celebrations were easy and people were within arms reach. For a destination like Highland Bali Villas, it is that same sentiment that it purposely brings guests and visitors the warmth and comfort of Christmas, safety, security, and the festive aesthetics included.
The couple behind Nueva Ecija’s premium resort destination and tourist staycation attraction, Julius and Cleofe Rodriguez, came up with the theme The World of Christmas as an ode to the merry traditions and images of the world’s well-loved season. Partnering with a trusted and reliable styling team—Michael Ruiz Event Styling—the property was transformed to their brilliant idea, and through images and enriching experiences, Christmas is felt more than ever.

The enchanting spirit of the season starts as soon as you begin your journey from the main entrance to the lobby, where every inch is drenched with light and the season’s trimmings. At the lobby stands a 12-foot Christmas tree, inspired by that of Rockefeller Center’s famous tree in New York with its masterful design and detail-oriented furnishing. Climb up the staircase where a parked royal carriage further brings that luxurious fantasy, all the while enjoying the majestic views of Pantabangan Lake and the Sierra Madre.

But the festivities don’t end there. As you walk towards the Main Villa, you are then transported to a Winter Wonderland, where a snowman greets you with reindeer, and the grand wintry experience is more felt than ever. Overall, Highland Bali Villas encourage these wonderful moments to be shared with loved ones and to heighten the yuletide’s excitement. Most importantly, for the true meaning of Christmas to be felt, imbibed, and practiced regardless of our current circumstances. Merry Christmas to all.
